Account Types We Support:
We support both Retirement and General Investing accounts.
General Investing (Non-Retirement)
Individual: An account for an individual. It is typically used to invest for a non-retirement life event.
An Individual Retirement Arrangement (IRA) is a tax advantaged account specifically designed to allow an individual to save for retirement. We offer three types of IRAs: Traditional, Roth, and Rollover.
Traditional IRA: Retirement savings with tax deductible contributions. You do not pay taxes on earnings until you withdraw funds. To be eligible to contribute, you must have compensation and meet Adjusted Gross Income limits.
Roth IRA: Retirement savings with taxable contributions. Provided certain requirements are met, all earnings are tax free upon withdrawal. To be eligible to contribute, you must have compensation and meet Adjusted Gross Income limits.
Rollover IRA: Consolidate and/or move one or multiple 401(k)s from previous employers into a single IRA without incurring taxes or penalties.
SEP IRA: A SEP is a Simplified Employee Pension plan. A SEP provides employers a simplified method to make contributions toward their employees’ retirement and their own retirement. Contributions are made directly to an IRA set up for each employee (a SEP-IRA).
SIMPLE IRA Plan: A SIMPLE IRA plan is a Savings Incentive Match Plan for Employees. It gives small employers a simplified method to make contributions toward their employees’ retirement and their own retirement. Under a SIMPLE IRA plan, employees may choose to make salary reduction contributions and the employer makes matching or nonelective contributions. All contributions are made directly to an IRA set up for each employee (a SIMPLE-IRA).
